Colleen Gaffney, CPCC, MCC, MBA
Colleen Gaffney is an executive Master Certified coach trained and certified by the Coaches Training Institute and the International Coach Federation. She holds an MBA and has over 20 years' experience as an HR executive in several Fortune 500 companies, where she provided strategic leadership, team and leadership development, and executive and leadership coaching. She has been the founder and CEO of Gaffney Coaching for over ten years.
Colleen’s strength is working with executive leaders to assess and build leadership capability. She has been especially effective in helping them heighten their personal awareness, remove barriers to success and use available resources to deal with the challenges before them. Colleen's work in Human Resources leadership included all areas of Human Resources, with a special emphasis on leadership development, employee engagement, and driving performance using a strength based approach. Colleen also specializes in working with teams to become more productive and synergistic. She facilitates team development by helping them to build on team strengths as well as the individual attributes of team members. She is especially effective in helping individuals and team members resolve conflict and build successful interpersonal partnerships.

Colleen received her bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University and MBA from the University of Phoenix. She has received coaches training through several different accredited organizations and received her certification from the Coaches Training Institute in San Raphael, California. She has also completed certifications in relationship and team coaching through the Center for Right Relationship, Great Life Technologies, Academy for Coaching Excellence and Team Coaching International. She is the former president of the Boulder Coaches Alliance, and has established leadership and coaching programs within major technology organizations. She is a certified feedback facilitator for several 360 degree leadership feedback instruments including the PDI, and TILT 365.
